Emotions are evergreen!

The scenes flashing on the back of my mind screen change. Just the ones on the walls stay forever. Moments are cherished, lived and relived everyday, the happiness lingers for ever. Smiles will never be forgotten, emotions will never fade. Feelings lost and found, heart bent and mend, reasons searched to live another day.

Always!

“5 years, it’s a long time you know, things change”, she murmured slowly under her breath, not sure if he heard her right. Her eyes still glued to his face, her hand paused on the door knob.
“And us?” He whispered into the night, his mind shuffling through words, all lost when he saw her break. None of them spoke.
The night was mysterious, the sky had a tint of red in it, it felt like the scene had been painted, for everything was so quiet. For the first time in a long time, everything was quiet, just their racing hearts were dancing.
“Things change”, exactly what he had said, 5 years ago. He had dread the moment from weeks, his mind was numb seeing her break.
“And us?” She struggled with words, breathing heavily, her cheeks numb with tears. The same door, the same step, a different year, a different night.
“It will always be us”, his heart had spoken that night.
It had been an awfully silent night. How hard it had been for him to leave, how painful it was, but how crucial it was at that time. She understood of course, yet letting him go was the hardest. How many stories she had to tell her drowning heart. Priorities had been different then. Now the time has passed, their hearts knew nothing had changed, just the calendar dates.
Seeing him standing on her doorstep this evening had been astonishing. Her brain had jammed, though her heart had leaped into delight seeing his brilliant smile. Mesmerized by his smile, and his charming face made her cheeks flush. A positive sign, he had assumed.
A simple “Hello” one more time, and a million things had started again that evening. Laughter was all that could be heard once again in her house. The same couch, the same smiling faces, different stories. Magical it felt, how nothing felt out of place. Same friends, two fluttering hearts, different emotions this time.
Letting him go felt hard again tonight, it had been a long time. She couldn’t just ask him to stay, what if he had only come to meet his old friend, whom he had never forget. Moments passed, and they were still standing motionless, both of them had forgotten what happiness had felt like. Reliving their past days, a smile spread on his face. He saw her eyes getting numb.
“It’s always us.” She said.

How time had leaped, how they had matured, how madly in love two friends still were.

A stroll in happiness

Silently he walked, pulling his steps back leaving the door ajar as the way it was. Smiling to himself, he walked slowly, turning off the lights as he passed. Everything was calm. Nothing felt out of place.  Keeping his heart steady, he smiled a broad smile, the kind that reflected happiness in his eyes. He had found something that he had waited for from so long now. He could feel the excitement rushing through his veins.

Passing by the hallway, he stopped abruptly when he heard a noise., wondering he might have tread on something, he examined the floor. Clutching the favorite toy of his little angel in his hand, he smiled. He pressed the toy again curious to hear the echo again, wondering why his daughter always smiles every time she hears it. Recalling her soft giggles, he grinned for a long moment.

Keeping it safe for her to play with the next day, he walked merrily to his room. His heart skipped a beat seeing his another angel fast asleep. He stood there and looked at her adorably for some moments.
Lying next to her, he kissed her softly on her forehead and a perfect smile played on his lips.

"I love you", he whispered into the dark, ready to sleep with a smile when she said,"Me too", and placed her head on his heart.

She smiled, he smiled.

When you feel it..

When you feel happy, share it with people you love.
When you feel pain, distract your mind.
When thoughts rule your mind, keep calm.
When feelings try to rush out, speak your heart out.
When you feel the urge to cry, find a friend to hug.
When your control on words is lost, stop and gulp your anger.
When there's no light to break up the dark, find a hope.
When you feel despair, look back on happier times.
When you see a lost smile, read the eyes.
When you feel loneliness, let music take over.
When you feel empty, let a smile make wonder!

Smile!

Smile, a perfect curve any person can ever have, that can make shades of emptiness fade away.

Smile even if your mind says no.
Smile even if your heart aches.
Smile even if your thoughts rebel.
Smile even if there's a storm inside.
Smile even if your eyes deceive you.
Smile even if you're in agony.
Smile even if you're world's upside down.
Smile even if the path you're walking is least trodden.
Smile even if you feel envy.
Smile even if you don't win.
Smile if you learnt something.
Smile even if you don't want to.
Smile even if you've got no reason.

Smile is the best thing that any one can give another soul. Smile rescues a sinking heart. Even if you don't do any shred of work in your entire day, smile and let it make wonders. Smiles have their own charm!

The heart wants what it wants

“You’re crazy”, he said when she said something funny.” No, I speak out my heart sometimes”, she replied honestly “You don’t really care what people think about you, do you?”, he questioned mocking her.  “Never have, never will”, she said smiling, gladly jumping over a puddle, in the most childish manner. The sunset was beautiful, birds were chirpy, a fading rainbow, a slow walk. “Your bizarre reactions take me by surprise at times. Things that you do out of the blue. Like this jumping and smiling to yourself all the time”, he said after thinking for a few moments, then he smiled, “ but I like it.” She returned a smile, walking her normal pace. “Tell me something about you that I don’t know”, he asked with curiosity in his eyes.

“I go crazy rarely and with some very specific people. I do what my heart desires. I know I should listen to my mind, but my hearts always rules over my mind. I listen to people, I seek advises, but I find myself doing what my heart craves for.  Sometimes I even end up scolding myself for screwing around, and not following my mind’s instructions”, she said thinking out loud. “The heart wants what it wants”, he stated. “Where the heart gets what it wants. Winning the battles from my mind, and doing things knowing I’ll only hurt myself more, going with the flow, sometimes even regretting, but making me do what it wants”, she answered pondering slightly. “Don’t let it rule your mind then”, he pointed out. She smiled and said, “If I won’t do what my heart wants then who will? And I can survive darkness and shadows if I get to dance in the rain every once in a while. ” He thought over and asked, “All this for few minutes’ happiness?” She looked him in the eyes, smile filling her eyes, and spoke, “All this for what it’s worth, for my brave heart. Because the heart wants what it wants.” He smiled thinking over what she said and said, “You’re utterly absurd.” She laughed and said, “I know.”

Someday

"What would be heaven?" She asked lost in deep thought.
"Waking up in his arms." I answered imagining the whole scene.
"A smile?" She asked curiously.
"And a deep kiss." I replied.
"Breakfast in bed?" She questioned further pressing the moment.
"Cook together, a beautiful morning, our favorite songs, chirpy faces." I smiled.
"What after that?"
"His hair, my hands."
"Beautiful..."
"...would be the sunset, the soft grass, his head, my lap." I smiled to the thought.
"No books?"
"Entire afternoon."
"And he won't disturb?" She asked.
"He'll be doing something he'd love."
"Silence?"
"A magical one. We'll be the silence lovers."
"Or the silent lovers?" She teased.
"More like the whisperers." I casted a notorious smile.
"And the evening?"
"A fun affair."
"A wild kiss?" She raised her brows.
"A wicked smile!"
"His arms?"
"Heaven!"
"Soon?"
"Someday..."
