Silently he walked,
pulling his steps back leaving the door ajar as the way it was. Smiling to
himself, he walked slowly, turning off the lights as he passed. Everything was
calm. Nothing felt out of place. Keeping his heart steady, he smiled a
broad smile, the kind that reflected happiness in his eyes. He had found
something that he had waited for from so long now. He could feel the excitement
rushing through his veins.
Passing by the
hallway, he stopped abruptly when he heard a noise., wondering he might have
tread on something, he examined the floor. Clutching the favorite toy of his
little angel in his hand, he smiled. He pressed the toy again curious to hear
the echo again, wondering why his daughter always smiles every time she hears
it. Recalling her soft giggles, he grinned for a long moment.
Keeping it safe for
her to play with the next day, he walked merrily to his room. His heart skipped
a beat seeing his another angel fast asleep. He stood there and looked at her
adorably for some moments.
Lying next to her,
he kissed her softly on her forehead and a perfect smile played on his lips.
"I love
you", he whispered into the dark, ready to sleep with a smile when she
said,"Me too", and placed her head on his heart.
She smiled, he
smiled.
